Welcome to
The Port Orange Baseball Club

2014 It's a whole new ballgame!

This Friday, October 24, the POBC will hold a Remembrance Ceremony for Savanna Mohney. Many of you may not be aware that Savanna was a member of our Lady Panthers softball team this season. We would like to come together to honor her memory and that of her brother, David, by gathering at the Spruce Creek Recreational Facility (All Children's Park) South field at 5:30pm.

Immediately following the ceremony, at approximately 6pm, we will hold a memorial softball game in her honor -Lady Panthers vs. POBC baseball players. Any players interested in playing on the boys team are asked to contact Coach Mike at We are primarily looking for players who were friends with Savannah or David to roster the team.

We are aware that most of the baseball teams are traveling this weekend, however we are STRONGLY ENCOURAGING all players to attend to show their support to the Lady Panthers softball team.

We are also setting up a trust account at Reunion Bank in honor of Savannah, to help offset her sister, Lauren's, medical costs. A donation jar will be set up at the concession stand during Friday's game. To make a donation in their memory, please click on the Paypal link here.

Now it's our turn to step up to the plate!

In a partnership with the City of Port Orange's Parks and Recreation department, our generous sponsor-partners, and our club members, we have donated $30000 towards this project. As we move into our 2014/2015 season we have set new goals. We are now raising funds for batting cages and warm up mounds at Lemerand Field.

We are actively seeking both corporate and private sponsor-partners to team up with us in this great community effort. This is a great opportunity for our club and our sponsor-partners to serve all baseball players in our community and support our Parks and Recreation Department's Babe Ruth Baseball program.
The real winners here are the youth of our city!
